First thing’s first, you will need the model for your aircraft of choice. If you have the skills, you can make one yourself, if not you can purchase one online. Remember though, if you read the EULA it states:

When purchasing a model, you are paying for a license to use it, which is often restricted to specific terms. Terms of usage will typically be agreed upon while purchasing. Many terms include clauses such as:
Many modders have fallen into the trap of buying a high-quality model for a very low price. A good model may cost $200 or more to purchase. Often, if you find a cheap model, it has been reuploaded by someone else, or ripped from another game. Verify that the seller is legitimate, and that the seller is the owner/creator of the model being sold.
When looking for models, FBX or OBJ are preferential model formats. Some models may be provided in .BLEND format, which can be even better. 3DS MAX, Cinema4D, etc. are proprietary formats which may require conversion or ownership of the software to convert to a useable format.
It is my opinion that any helicopter mod have no dependencies. This is not always possible, and some types of helicopters must utilize some dependency to make life easier. An example would be helicopters with pilot/copilot controlled weapons systems, etc. It’s good to ask these questions:
